Algetty is a town in the game Chrono Trigger. The Earthbound Ones built this town inside the Terra Cave because they couldn't use magic and the Enlightened Ones banished them from Zeal.
The Earthbound Ones built Algetty sometime before 12,000 BC. Around that time an old man ran the village. Only Schala and the 3 Gurus would ever come visit and treat the people with respect, and Schala would play with the children. Since the village was at the base of Mt. Woe, Crono and his friends came to visit so they could access Mt. Woe. Once they rescued Melchior, he came to Algetty with Crono and his friends. Schala and Janus arrived and tried to hide from their mother who was intent on using Schala for the Ocean Palace. However, Dalton came by and took them away. Melchior gave Crono the Masamune to use to stop the Mammon Machine.
