Gabranth is leader of the Judges and also in the Judge on the game logo. It is reveiled in the game that he is, in fact, Basch’s twin brother and the true murderer of Reks and King Raminas. He is quite the opposite to his brother. He supports the Archadian Empire with his life. He is Larsa’ protector and Vayne’s second in command. In his actions, he shows that he hates himself for framing his brother and doing the tasks that Vayne commands him to fulfill.
At the end of the game when your party confronts him, he insists on joining the team and defeating Vayne to make up for his actions in the past. Sadly, during the battle he is wounded and dies in his brother’s arms.
