Llednar Twem is a mysterious enforcer who replaces the Judges when they become independent from the Palace, he takes his orders directly from Queen Remedi. After his defeat, Llednar is revealed to be the embodiment of Mewt's anger and hostility. Llednar's name is Mewt Randell spelled backwards, and is an "inversion" of the normally timid and shy Mewt. Llednar is initially invincible in battle due to a "Fortune" Law put into effect by Queen Remedi. Later in the game, Marche is trapped in the throne room of Bervenia Palace by Llednar and forced to survive a one-on-one duel against him while awaiting Judge Master Cid's arrival. Later, at Ambervale, Cid nullifies the Fortune Law with Ezel's help so that Marche is able to defeat Llednar, causing him to turn to stone and crack. Llednar is a Biskmatar, a royal guard that can use powerful magic, and as such, his trademark move is Omega, an attack that apparently is as powerful as the mighty Ultima spell (or possibly even stronger), which he almost uses to kill Marche on two different occasions only to be stopped by Cid.
