Roxas, the Key of Destiny (めぐりあう鍵 Meguriau Kagi?, lit. "Serendipitous Key"), is the Nobody of Sora and was Rank XIII within the original Organization XIII, born when Sora took his own heart to restore Kairi's. Although Sora's heart was soon restored, Roxas continued to endure and exist, oblivious of Sora's existence for most of his life. He has the ability to use the Keyblade, and wields light, using it to direct rays that strike opponents with great power. He commands the Samurai Nobodies. Roxas was also one of the mysterious hooded figures in Another side, Another story... and Deep Dive. During the prologue of Kingdom Hearts II, the player controls Roxas until Sora is awakened. In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Roxas is the primary protagonist. This game focuses on the time period between Roxas's birth and his departure from the Organization, eventually leading to his capture at the hands of Riku and DiZ.
Story[]
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories[]
According to the Secret Ansem Reports, Roxas is born when Sora stabs himself with the Keyblade of heart, forged from the hearts of six of the seven Princesses of Heart, in order to free Kairi's heart at the cost of his own. However, Sora spends little time as a Heartless, as Kairi's light fetches Sora's heart from the darkness, restoring him to his former self shortly after he becomes a Heartless. While Nobodies are usually destroyed so such a restoration would be possible, Roxas is able to co-exist alongside Sora, albeit with no memories of his life before. Regardless, Roxas's status as Sora's Nobody grants him the ability to use the Keyblade. Roxas comes into being, dazed and confused, in Twilight Town, where he is found and named by Xemnas. Shortly afterwards, he meets Axel, who, after they see Hayner, Pence and Olette walking through the town, takes Roxas to eat sea salt ice cream on the Clock Tower. Six days after coming into being, Roxas and Xemnas meet at the Dark Margin, where they talk. Xemnas reveals that he had been to see Sora, as Xemnas had encountered him at Hollow Bastion.
Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days[]
Having joined the Organization, Roxas is initially assigned to Axel, number VIII Organization. But by dint of doing missions together, the two end up becoming friends. For each mission, their friendship grows, so much so that at the end of each task they go on the clock tower of Twilight eating an ice cream Salt. But then one day Axel is sent to Castle Oblivion to interfere in Marluxia's plan, it seems, he wanted to rebel against the Organization assogettando to his will Sora and spilling Xemnas with the help of the young. So Roxas was given the last member had just arrived in the Organization, Xion. This proves initially closed to Roxas, but later opens up to the young and the two become friends. Following Roxas falls into a coma for several weeks because Sora was asleep and the Naminè was rebuilding the memory. This is evidence of the strong relationship that there is between Sora and Roxas. After recovering from a coma, Roxas discovers that Axel came back from Castle Oblivion. Although the number VIII initially proves to be a bit 'jealous as Roxas had tied a strong friendship with Xion, in the end the three become friends for life. However, reacting to the recovery process of the memories of Sora, Roxas begins to wonder why possess the Keyblade and even begins to have doubts about the true objectives of the Organization.
The more time passes the Organization and Roxas is eager to get answers to his questions, still, in the meantime,to assist the Organization in its plan to create Kingdom Hearts,collecting hearts Heartless using the Keyblade.
Afterwards Xion, also anxious to get answers to his questions, he leaves the Organization to find herself, and soon Roxas will follow. Axel will try to stop Roxas to convince him to stay in the Organization, otherwise members would have given chase and tried to destroy him for his treachery. But Roxas answer: No one would feel my lack, then continuing on his way. Axel ribatterà: Not true ..... I feel, but Roxas will continue without a word. Later, in Twilight Town, Roxas meet Xion, who has finally discovered the truth about herself: she is no reply (Nobody artificially created), but it is an imperfect copy of Roxas, created by Xemnas using trapelanti memories of Sora in If Sora had proved useless for the Superior plans to create Kingdom Hearts. Xion returns to its original shape, but after the battle Roxas loses all the memories I have of her. Xion, happy but dying in the arms of Roxas, asks them to stop Xemnas and prevent him to complete Kingdom Hearts, finally disappearing. Roxas regains his memories of Xion only when it dies.
'Kingdom Hearts II' []
Roxas lives for some time in the virtual Twilight Town, unaware of his past. [
Here he befriends Hayner, Pence and Olette, three boys of Twilight constantly at odds with the band Seifer.
But as Naminè reconstructs memories of Sora, Roxas begins to have, in his dreams, visions of past adventures of Sora.
In addition the city is constantly invaded by Nobody who steal all photos where it appears Roxas (not understanding the difference and exchanging pictures for the real Roxas). They had invaded the Twilight Alerts led by Axel, who was sent by the Organization had finally found Roxas and she wanted him with them.
However, in times of extreme need, the Keyblade appears to help Roxas to defeat enemies and then disappear once the threat is gone.
Roxas, along with No one comes repeatedly in contact with a girl named Naminé who seems to know things about the young that not even he knows.
Roxas also meets a mysterious man in a black cloak (Riku) and a man with his face wrapped in red bandages (Diz). The latter turns out to be the cause of Roxas in Twilight Town Virtual captivity.
Axel suddenly appears during Tournament Struggle, while Roxas was fighting Live. Axel Roxas attacks, but Diz intervenes and saves the young.
After the Struggle Tournament, Roxas falls down from the Clock Tower and, while falling, try to get in touch with Namine. This effort actually leads to contact with Kairi, the Naminè counterpart. THE
two talk and when Kairi Roxas asks what was the name of some guy , Sora, Ake asleep, talks to Kairi through Roxas and gives a hint:

Apart from all these mysterious people, Roxas noted strange things due to some anomalies in the Twilight Alerts, such as people who are locked.
Following Naminè manages to make contact with Roxas and tells all:
he is a Nobody, and would never have existed. Then he speaks of the Organization and of the great friendship between Roxas and Axel. She tells him to be quiet, because there would be gone, and that one day they would riincontrati. Naminè is however interrupted by Riku and Diz that wear away.
Following Axel Roxas attacks again and tells him that the Organization had ordered him to destroy the young if they had not remembered anything or would oppose, but Diz blocks all Virtual Twilight Town and Axel with it, saying then Roxas to reach the Old Villa. Here Roxas is again attacked by anyone, but Riku intervenes and makes its way to Roxas entering the villa and reach the secret lab. Here Roxas slowly begins to remember his entire past life and remember Diz had sent him in Twilight Town Alerts. Enraged, destroys the DiZ computer and then continues into the next room, where Axel attacks him. Roxas defeats him and goes, seeing the capsule in which they were sleeping Donald, Pippo and Sora, who was sleeping in the bigger one.
DiZ then appears again talking to Roxas. The boy, tired and full of hatred for Diz, attacks him but he takes part chiarendogli that it is useless to attack, because what he saw Roxas was just a projection based on his data. At this point the capsule that contains opens Sora and Roxas is reunited with his counterpart, risvegliandola.
Roxas no longer looks for a nice little bit, but continued, as said by Naminè, to exist inside Sora.
Also every time that Sora will meet a member of the Organization, he will call him Sora Roxas instead.
Roxas will appear in the end, to the World That Never Was, which will emerge from the depths of Sora to address this:
Nobody several Samurai appear blocking Donald and Goofy while Roxas and Sora will face off in a battle in Dive into the Heart, where they eventually will be defeated by Sora and Roxas will compliment with him, telling him:
"You're a good other."
Roxas will appear again when Xemnas is apparently defeated and will meet again with Naminè, keeping the promise he had made to meet again, and then both together with their counterparts (Sora and Kairi).
Roxas will appear in the final where, on Destiny Island, Sora will be reflected in Roxas and Kairi in Naminè.
Kingdom Hearts coded[]
Roxas in Castle Oblivion will appear hooded and face Sora Alerts, but when he is defeated is revealed to be Roxas.
Appearance[]
Roxas is different from Sora and equal to Ventus, has blond hair and pointy that tend upwards and blue eyes. He is wearing a white jacket with black square strips, red collar and the cuffs of gray. On the left arm he has a bracelet checkered whites and blacks and two rings: one white and one gray. Under the jacket he has a black mesh with an X-shaped hinge gray and, in the lower part of the mesh, two gray edges. Then she wears the pants in the upper blacks and whites in that low with the red laces shoes and the blacks support, the rest is gray, but under the shoes are white.
